This is my first plein air painting. Having never worked on location
before, I decided to do a trial run on the porch of the Carina House. I
packed up all my gear (including lunch) for a day's painting and
set out, as if to hike, through the french doors. The experiment
worked and I gained the confidence to set out further the next day.
